In 2016 I started working as a sole practitioner architect. Prior to that, I worked from 2006–2016 with a handful of firms around Seattle. My project experience throughout that time consisted primarily of large, mixed-use projects. It also included residential and office towers, university libraries, and mid-rise office and research buildings.
Below are key projects from that time. With each project, I was a member of a larger team working under the design direction of principals of the firms. The key takeaway from these projects, for me, was the experience of bringing large projects together with large teams. The projects may not have reflected my personal design sensibility, but they were all big learning experiences in terms of process.
